According to Paramount Press Express, BET has ordered 20 episodes for the second season, featuring 60 comedians. Chris “CP” Powell will return as host following the show’s successful debut season. The first season ranked as cable’s top new unscripted series among Black viewers during the summer.
The upcoming lineup includes Affion Crockett, Cocoa Brown, Lavell Crawford, and Luenell alongside emerging comedians. The series will continue filming performances in its Hollywood rooftop setting. It will also return as part of BET’s Tuesday Comedy Fun Night programming.
