Snoop Dogg, Rachel Platten, and Richie Sambora Set to Perform at Race to Erase MS Gala

(Los Angeles, CA – May 27, 2026) – Race to Erase MS founder Nancy Davis announced today that Emmy Award-winning, multi-platinum artist, songwriter, and activist Rachel Platten will perform at the 33rd annual Race to Erase MS Gala on Friday, June 5, 2026 at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles. Platten first captivated the world with her breakout anthem “Fight Song,” an enduring cultural touchstone that topped charts globally, inspired movements and has now surpassed over 3 billion streams worldwide. The evening’s program will also showcase a performance by multiple award-winning guitarist, songwriter, and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Richie Sambora in addition to Dancing with the Stars pros Alan Bersten and Emma Slater.

As previously announced, this year’s Gala will also feature a performance by Snoop Dogg and will honor Disney Entertainment Television Communications EVP Naomi Bulochnikov-Paul with the organization’s prestigious Medal of Hope. Hosted by TV personality and ESPN sports analyst Jesse Palmer, the star-studded event will also boast a fashion show from L’AGENCE, live and silent auctions, and dinner.

“We are honored to have Rachel Platten join us for this year’s Race to Erase MS Gala,” said Davis. “Her powerful voice and uplifting spirit, alongside the incredible performances by Richie Sambora, Alan Bersten and Emma Slater, will make this year’s event truly special as we come together to raise awareness and critical funds to erase MS forever.”

Race to Erase MS was founded in 1993 by Nancy Davis and is dedicated to the treatment and ultimate cure of Multiple Sclerosis. Since the Race to Erase MS foundation was created, there has been more than $58 million raised and more than 26 FDA approved therapies created to aggressively fight MS that have provided hope, inspiration, and resources to those in the Multiple Sclerosis community. The annual Los Angeles Gala is one of the most important fundraising events supporting innovative research and therapeutic approaches to eradicate MS through the foundation’s Center Without Walls program. The gala directly benefits the foundation’s Center Without Walls program, a unique collaboration between eight of the world’s leading MS research centers across the country who have bolstered their individual efforts on groundbreaking research into collective action with the goal of treating and, ultimately, finding a cure for MS.

To further expand on the work of Erase To Erase MS, the Center Without Walls program currently includes physicians, scientists, and clinicians from Cedars-Sinai, UCSF, Harvard, Yale, Oregon Health Science University, Johns Hopkins, UCLA and USC. The Race to Erase MS Gala has been instrumental in funding pilot studies that have contributed to drugs now on the market and other very important therapies that are improving the lives of people worldwide suffering from MS. Davis also created the annual “Orange You Happy to Erase MS” campaign, which takes place for the entire month of May (MS Awareness Month) and adds yet another branch of fundraising for MS research.  Throughout the month, a variety of orange products, many of which are specially created for this initiative, are sold to benefit the cause and elevate public awareness about MS
