LOS ANGELES — MANSA is establishing a premium lane in the growing microdrama category with the launch of two original scripted series, My Twin Sister Stole My Life and I Married the King of the Streets. Built around cinematic production, culturally specific storytelling and recognizable talent, the releases mark the next phase of MANSA’s investment in mobile-first entertainment. The series are available on the MANSA App and through TikTok’s serialized content experience as part of a strategic distribution and monetization partnership.

Lawrence H. Robinson, Nadia Adelay, Maurice Johnson and Aspen Kennedy star in My Twin Sister Stole My Life, while I Married the King of the Streets features Serayah McNeill, Thomas Q. Jones, Shawn Wells and Eren Lenox.

The series will be co-distributed through the MANSA App and TikTok’s serialized content experience, giving audiences multiple ways to discover and watch the titles while expanding MANSA’s reach and monetization opportunities. Rather than defining the slate through a single genre, the two projects showcase the range of MANSA’s premium vertical strategy, spanning a psychological identity thriller and a heightened romantic crime thriller.

In My Twin Sister Stole My Life, a woman awakens from a coma to find that her identical twin has taken her identity, fiancé, career and future. With the people closest to her refusing to believe her, she must expose the deception and reclaim the life stolen from her.

I Married the King of the Streets follows a hardworking woman whose life is destroyed before she crosses paths with the city’s most dangerous and powerful man. Their connection pulls her into a world of crime, passion and revenge, forcing her to navigate the line between love and survival.

“Vertical storytelling gives us an opportunity to meet audiences where they are without compromising ambition, craft or cultural specificity,” said Nate Parker, co-founder of MANSA. “We are building premium scripted series with talent audiences know, while creating a platform for emerging voices and stories grounded in the breadth of Black experience.”

“Working with TikTok as a distribution partner allows us to expand discovery, deepen engagement and build new monetization opportunities around this content,” Parker added.

The launches reflect MANSA’s approach to the format: premium scripted production, culturally resonant concepts, cast-driven projects and a clear editorial point of view. By distributing across its owned platform and TikTok’s serialized content experience, MANSA is positioning microdramas as a scalable part of its original-content business while extending Black storytelling to mobile audiences.
