    Dolly Parton has a new star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame after her original marker was vandalized and damaged. The country music icon’s star, which had been part of the famous Hollywood landmark for decades, was replaced following the vandalism, giving Parton a newly installed marker as her celebrated career and lasting impact on entertainment continue to be recognized.

    Dolly Parton‘s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been replaced after the original one was vandalized following the country superstar’s death. Parton died of cancer on Aug. 25 at age 80.

    The star, which Parton received in 1984, is located at 6712 Hollywood Boulevard, and already had a crack along it before it was vandalized. As of Friday, Parton’s star is now fully restored and viewable.

    In a statement to Variety, Ana Martinez, Hollywood Walk of Fame Producer said, “Our Dolly is back! Hollywood is thrilled that her star is back in pristine condition for fans to enjoy forever. “
