Lady Gaga has entered a new chapter in her life, welcoming her first child with fiancé Michael Polansky. The Grammy-winning singer and Polansky, who began dating in 2020 and became engaged in 2024, are now parents after keeping much of their journey toward starting a family private.

The Grammy winner, 40, and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, have welcomed their first baby together, a source tells PEOPLE.
Reps for Gaga did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Gaga has spoken previously about her desire to become a mother. In a YouTube video from December 2019, she discussed her 10-year plan and said she hoped “babies” were part of that future.
“I want to do more movies, I want to have babies,” she said at the time.
