New details have emerged about Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky’s first child. According to reports citing the baby’s birth certificate, the couple welcomed a daughter named Rose Bean Polansky on June 9 in Los Angeles. While Gaga and Polansky have kept their new addition largely out of the public eye, the name appears to carry connections to the superstar’s musical history.

    via PEOPLE:

According to TMZ, Gaga and Polansky named their daughter Rose Bean Polansky. Her birth certificate says she arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on June 9 at 11:19 p.m. The document also lists Dr. Robert Katz as the doctor who delivered her. Katz previously assisted Ciara and Russell Wilson with the birth of their daughter, Sienna.

The meaning behind Rose Bean remains unclear. Gaga has a large rose tattoo running down her spine, which she got to mark her performance of “La Vie En Rose” in A Star Is Born. The name may also be related to singer and activist Carl Bean. Gaga drew inspiration from Bean for her hit song “Born This Way.”
