As the Grammy-winning rapper, 47, prepares to embark on a tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her Scorpion album in October, she also recently dug back into her fashion archives for a special event with Spotify and Depop in Los Angeles on Thursday, Aug. 13.
Upon making Scorpion, Eve didn’t expect the album to still mean so much to fans 25 years later. “You don’t really think about it like that, but I am so grateful for the impact that it’s had,” she says. “I feel really lucky as an artist that my music is still around and people still want to hear it, and it’s a great feeling, definitely.”
These days, Eve’s life looks a lot different. She’s been married to Cooper since June 2014, and the pair shares 4-year-old son Wilde Wolf, while she’s also a stepmother to Cooper’s four kids from a previous relationship: Jagger, Lotus, Mini and Cash.
From chart success and acting to television and life beyond the spotlight, Eve’s career has continued to evolve. Looking back, the rapper remains grateful for the longevity that has allowed her to grow alongside the audience that has supported her.
