According to PEOPLE, Swift will deliver a performance to close the evening, which honors filmmaker John Carpenter, actor Colman Domingo, and actress Charlize Theron. The event raises funds supporting the Academy Museum’s exhibitions, educational programs, screenings, and film preservation initiatives. This year’s gala is co-chaired by Tom Ford, Robert Rodriguez, Steven Spielberg, and Kate Capshaw. The host committee includes numerous entertainment figures, including Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, and Questlove.
