Bad Bunny is adding another major milestone to his historic 2026 Super Bowl run after his Super Bowl LX halftime show earned seven Emmy Awards. The Puerto Rican superstar’s performance, which featured guest appearances from Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin and Los Pleneros de la Cresta, became one of the defining entertainment moments of the year.

Bad Bunny won his first Emmy in the outstanding variety special (live) category, where his Super Bowl performance became only the second halftime show — after Kendrick Lamar’s the year before — to win that award. The halftime show also won in the categories of music direction, choreography, sound mixing, lighting design, technical direction/camerawork and directing.
Jay-Z, a producer of the halftime show, scored his third Emmy for his role on Bad Bunny’s performance; the rapper previously won for Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show, which held the record for most Emmys won by a Super Bowl performance for a year until Bad Bunny’s big night.
