Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, is stepping into the world of animation with a new voice role in Doggyland, the children’s educational series co-created by her father. The opportunity marks a personal milestone for Broadus, who has dreamed of working in children’s animation since childhood.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cori Broadus is making her animated debut as Maxine, a confident and playful labradoodle in Doggyland. Broadus also helped develop the character’s personality and appearance.
The role fulfills a longtime ambition that began when Broadus auditioned for The Backyardigans as a child. Although she did not secure that earlier opportunity, her interest in animation continued.
Doggyland, co-created by Snoop Dogg, Claude Brooks and October London, uses music, dance and storytelling to teach children educational and social-emotional lessons.
