TikTok is expanding its investment in scripted entertainment through a new partnership with creator management company Made By Us. The collaboration will introduce original vertical microseries starring popular digital creators Hannah Stocking and Adam Rose.
According to TheWrap, TikTok and Made By Us have announced a multiyear agreement to develop and co-produce original microseries. The projects will be distributed exclusively through TikTok and its microdrama platform, PineDrama. The partnership was announced during TikTok’s presentation at MIPCOM Cannes.
Hannah Stocking will star in Player, a romantic revenge thriller directed by Louiza Zouzias. Stocking also serves as an executive producer and contributed to the story’s development. Adam Rose will lead a separate genre-focused microseries alongside Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin actress Zaria Simone.
The partnership follows TikTok’s earlier collaboration with Issa Rae’s Hoorae Media on Screen Time. According to the report, that microdrama generated nearly 580 million views across TikTok and PineDrama worldwide. The new agreement reflects TikTok’s continued effort to develop premium scripted content designed specifically for mobile viewing.
