The GRAMMY Museum will expand its celebration of Olivia Rodrigo with “Olivia Rodrigo: Note by Note,” presented by American Express, opening Friday, September 25th, 2026. Serving as the second part of the museum’s exhibitions dedicated to Rodrigo, the new experience takes fans through the singer-songwriter’s career so far with artifacts representing all three of her album cycles, two world tours and other major moments from her rise to global pop stardom.
“Note by Note” builds upon “Olivia Rodrigo: The Cure Unraveled,” an exhibition featuring handmade sets, props and artwork created for Rodrigo’s “The Cure” music video. While the original installation gives visitors a closer look at the creative process behind a specific visual project, the expansion broadens the focus to Rodrigo’s evolving artistry and the music, performances and imagery that have defined different stages of her career.
Fans will get an up-close look at memorabilia from Rodrigo’s “SOUR Tour,” including stage-worn outfits, handwritten letters to fans and the knee-high Dr. Martens she wore throughout the tour. Her massive “GUTS World Tour” is also represented through stage outfits worn during performances at Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome, along with the official “GUTS World Tour” megaphone. Together, the pieces offer a look back at Rodrigo’s evolution as a live performer across her first two major tours.
The exhibition also moves into Rodrigo’s current era with dresses featured on the front, back and interior cover artwork for You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love. Fans will also see the pink electric guitar featured in the “Drop Dead” music video, while additional artifacts pulled directly from the Daisy Chain Fields festival grounds and previously unseen pieces further expand the collection.
By bringing together costumes, instruments, handwritten materials, music video pieces and tour memorabilia, “Olivia Rodrigo: Note by Note” offers fans a visual timeline of Rodrigo’s career and creative evolution. The expanded exhibition opens September 25th, 2026, and will remain on display through February 22nd, 2027, giving visitors several months to explore the stories and objects behind some of the singer’s biggest musical eras.
