Megan Thee Stallion is adding even more hardware to her impressive career résumé. The Houston rapper has earned nine new certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), recognizing the commercial success of several of her biggest songs. Among the latest achievements is a 6× Platinum certification for “Savage,” the 2020 hit that became a career-defining moment for Megan and received an additional boost from its Grammy-winning remix featuring Beyoncé. The new certifications highlight the lasting impact and continued popularity of Megan’s music.

Meg’s Billboard Hot 100-topping “Savage” is now 6x Platinum, while her “Body” and “Girls in the Hood” anthems reached triple-Platinum status, according to the RIAA’s website. The Yuki Chiba-assisted “Mamushi,” which reached the Hot 100’s top 40 (No. 36), is now Platinum.
There are plenty of gold plaques on the way as well. Megan’s Act II album is Gold, in addition to “Cobra,” “BOA,” “Bigger in Texas” and “Roc Steady” featuring Flo Milli.
The 31-year-old rapper reacted by reposting the news of the certifications to her Instagram Story with a series of CD emojis.
On Aug. 3, Megan Thee Stallion earned her first Diamond plaque for her 2020 “WAP” collaboration with Cardi B, which topped the Hot 100 for four weeks and marks the Bronx native’s fourth Diamond certification.
