The Law & Order franchise is saying goodbye to one of its recent spinoffs. Law & Order: Organized Crime, starring Christopher Meloni, has officially been canceled after five seasons.

According to Variety, NBC has officially canceled Law & Order: Organized Crime after five seasons, bringing an end to the popular spinoff series led by Christopher Meloni.

The show followed Meloni’s return as Elliot Stabler, a fan-favorite character originally introduced in Law & Order: SVU. The series premiered in 2021 and ran for a total of 75 episodes before its cancellation.

The fifth season concluded in 2025, and despite its loyal fan base, the network ultimately decided not to move forward with a sixth season.

Following the announcement, Meloni expressed gratitude to fans for their support, acknowledging the impact the role has had on his career over the years.

While Organized Crime comes to an end, the broader Law & Order franchise continues, with SVU moving forward with additional seasons.
