Hailey Bieber’s sister, Alaia Baldwin, has learned her fate following her arrest earlier this year. The latest development brings an update to the legal situation involving the model and mother, who faced charges stemming from an incident that attracted public attention.
According to Page Six, Alaia, 33, won’t be facing jail time, and her case was dismissed after she allegedly threw a used tampon at a bartender in Savannah, Georgia.
Court records filed in Chatham County on Friday, August 21, confirm that Alaia was placed in a pre-trial diversion program instead of facing trial.
At the time of her arrest, Hailey’s sister was booked on charges of simple assault, simple battery, battery, and criminal trespassing.
Alaia also claimed she was acting in self-defense after being physically removed from the bar following the alleged altercation.
Page Six reported that during the incident at Club Elan, Alaia not only threw a used tampon at a female bartender, but she also tore a chunk of hair out of a bouncer’s head and physically struck another individual.
In a police report obtained by Page Six, responding officers wrote, “She also initially denied throwing her used tampon at Ms. Cauley but later stated she did throw it.”
