Dolly Parton is putting her health first. The legendary country icon has officially canceled her upcoming Las Vegas residency while continuing treatment for ongoing medical issues.

According to Yahoo! Entertainment, the 80-year-old music superstar announced that she will no longer move forward with her planned residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas after previously postponing the performances.

According to reports, Parton shared that while her condition is improving, she is still recovering and dealing with side effects from medication that have impacted her ability to travel and perform comfortably.

Parton explained that some of the medication has left her feeling lightheaded and “swimmy-headed,” making it difficult to commit to the physical demands of a live residency.

The residency, titled “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas,” was originally announced for late 2025 before being delayed to September 2026 due to health-related procedures.

Despite stepping away from live performances for now, Parton remains active creatively. Reports note that she is still working on several projects, including her upcoming Broadway musical and other entertainment ventures.

Fans have flooded social media with supportive messages as the beloved entertainer focuses on recovery.
