The Pussycat Dolls have officially canceled all North American dates for their highly anticipated reunion tour.
According to Rolling Stone, the group announced that the majority of the U.S. and Canadian shows for their “PCD Forever Tour” will no longer take place. The only remaining North American appearance is currently scheduled for WeHo Pride in Los Angeles on June 6.
The reunited lineup includes Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, and Kimberly Wyatt. Several former members, including Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta, and Melody Thornton, were not part of the reunion.
While the group did not provide a detailed explanation for the cancellations, reports and industry speculation have pointed toward low ticket sales for the North American leg.
The group stated that after taking “an honest look” at the tour schedule, they made the difficult decision to scale back the North American run. Refunds for canceled dates are expected to be issued through ticket providers.
Despite the cancellations, the group confirmed that their UK and European tour dates will continue as planned, with several international shows reportedly already sold out.
The “PCD Forever Tour” was intended to celebrate more than 20 years since the release of the group’s debut album, PCD.
