Lenny Kravitz is officially joining the Barbie universe. Mattel has named the Grammy-winning rocker its newest “Kenbassador,” making him only the second celebrity to receive the honor following NBA superstar LeBron James. Kravitz is being celebrated with a Barbie Signature collectible doll inspired by his unmistakable Blue Electric Light Tour style.

The “American Woman” singer is the latest celebrity to turn into the toy, with his miniature counterpart dressed in some of Kravitz’s signature gear: A slinky tank, statement jewelry, and plenty of tattoos (and abs) on full display. Available from major retailers including Walmart and Amazon, the new Ken doll retails for $70.
The drop arrives as Barbie commemorates Ken’s 65th anniversary, marking more than six decades since the doll made his debut in 1961, per the brand. Since then, Ken has become a collector favorite in his own right, with special-edition releases regularly drawing plenty of attention.
Just ask LeBron James. The basketball star became the first celebrity honored as a Kenbassador when his Ken doll was released in 2025, quickly selling out at retail and now popping up on third-party resale sites like StockX.
For Kravitz, the honor adds another unexpected milestone to a career spanning music, acting, fashion and design. With the collectible recreating everything from his signature locs to his rock-star wardrobe, Mattel is celebrating both his personal style and decades-long influence on popular culture.
