Presley died on Sunday, Sept. 20, at a rehab facility, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner records obtained by PEOPLE. TMZ was first to report the news.
Presley was the son of model Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber, a businessman, and the brother of model and actress Kaia Gerber. Presley was a model himself. He was open about his struggles with mental health and substance abuse.
Gerber began modeling as a teenager and went on to work with major fashion brands, including Calvin Klein, Moschino and Dolce & Gabbana. In recent years, he also spoke publicly about his experiences with mental health, addiction and recovery in hopes of helping others facing similar challenges. Presley is survived by his parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, and his younger sister, model and actress Kaia Gerber.
