Oscar-winning actor Tommy Lee Jones made a rare public appearance while supporting his latest television project. The Hollywood veteran joined Ethan Hawke and fellow cast members at the Austin premiere of the second season of The Lowdown.
Jones attended the October 7th premiere at AFS Cinema in Austin, Texas, alongside Hawke, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, and Killer Mike.
The 80-year-old actor portrays Lee Raybon Sr., the father of Hawke’s character, Lee Raybon, a determined citizen journalist investigating corruption and uncovering secrets.

The second season also features Keith David, Jeanne Tripplehorn, and Betty Gilpin. The series returns October 14th on FX and Hulu. Jones’ appearance comes after a difficult year for his family following the death of his daughter, Victoria, in January.
Jones’ return to the red carpet highlights his continued involvement in major film and television projects, while his collaboration with Hawke adds another notable chapter to his distinguished acting career.
