Ice Spice is putting an end to recent pregnancy speculation. The Bronx rapper addresses the chatter directly in the visual for her new music, making her message clear while turning the attention back to the music.

Fans began to speculate that Ice Spice was expecting after she appeared to be heavily pregnant in the video for “Out My Face,” her new collaboration with Lil Yachty. The rumor took off running when an Ice Spice fan account posted an out-of-context still from the video with the caption, “Ice Spice reveals pregnancy in ‘Out My Face’ Music Video.” The post was actually just a ploy to get more people to listen to the song.
The scene in which Ice Spice’s stomach physically extends into a full-blown baby bump accounts for five seconds of the video’s three-and-a-half-minute run time. It pairs with the lyric, “Matter fact, give me time/Matter fact, give me māthā/Matter fact, make me a mom.”
Rolling Stone can confirm that Ice Spice is not pregnant.
In a way to perhaps poke fun at the unfounded rumors, Lil Yachty posted a photo of what appeared to be a behind-the-scene shot of Ice Spice wearing her fake baby bump.
